having been a highschooler back in the 70's, it's still hard for me to grasp the fact that the 1970's was 40+ years ago...somehow, I guess maybe having "been there", most ordinary things that were once in my posession don't seem that old, unique or even fashionable...heck, I remember when stuff from the 50's was not only plentiful but worthless as well...
