today's Thrift Score...




wowzer!...here's a super-rare souvenir from the early days of Apple Computers and the Berkeley Macintosh Users Group...

The BMUG tie-dye T-shirt: Created for the first Macworld Expo in Washington, in 1989. The event promised to be formal, and the Berkeley contingent wanted to distinguish themselves from all the suits and military uniforms. The shirt eventually became the BMUG uniform. Hundreds were sold, especially in Asia. Each was handmade by Berkeley Deadheads.
