New York City Polo Grounds Speedway...





     Florida Transplant, Tommie Elliott ("The Blonde Blizzard") was the King of the Polo Grounds in 1959...The popular downtown Manhatton Track, was the former Baseball Stadium for the New York Giants and the centerpiece of  NASCAR's Midget Racing Division in the late 1950s...The Polo Grounds Speedway was the home of the coveted Knickerboker Cup, the award trophy presented by the Knickerboker Beer Company to each season's ending Track Champion...
