the young man behind the T-Shirt is 25 year-old Don Mactavish...Don was a rising star on the New England area stock car racing circuit when he lost his life at the age of 26 on the high-banks of Daytona during the 1969 Permatex Sportsman 300...one of the most brutal crashes ever seen and carried live on network television...most old timers remember the crash, I prefer to remember the smiling boy in the "cool t-Shirt"...
