vintage Stock Car Racing...

   as kid growing up in the 70s, I spent most every weekend at the local short-track watching my dad race...good times for sure!...the Three Wides Picture Vault LINK is a treasure-trove of photos and folk-lore from the glory days of East Coast Short Track Racing...New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania Stock Car Racing (and some Open Wheel) from the 1950s - 60s -70s and 80s is well documented here...there's even a Forum for guys who like to talk racing...myself, I dig the pictures and the stories from the 1950s...I'm not sure if these guys were courageous or just crazy!
