Book List...

the last "real novel" I read was was Profiles In Courage about 1972...I'm not much of a reader, but I do like picture books...Most of my creative inspiration and obsession for collecting has come from picture books...During the 80s and 90s I was a book buying sob and amassed a library of nearly 1000 books, yet everytime I visit the book shelf, to this day, I still walk away with the same dozen or so books that ignited my passion so many years ago...here's a list of my Favorites in no particular order...

Mid-Century Modern by Cara Greenberg...back in the 80s I was heavy into selling Original Art Deco and 50s Modern...for the Modern Buyers and Sellers this was the Bible...

The Encyclopedia of Bad Taste...Bad Taste never goes out of style... everything "Cheesy" and "Kitschy" can be found in this book...

60s! by John and Gordon Javna...Peace, Love and Batman!

Big City Junk by Mary Randolph Carter made Distress, Rust and Original Patina COOL!

The Whole Pop Catalog...a must-have for the Kitsch Lover in me...

How the West was Worn by Holly George-Warren and Michelle Freedman ...someday I will find a Nudie Suit!
