wow, talk about a "Thrift Score"...this was on my Ebay "watch list" earlier this year...it is a super-Rare 1957 Sony TR 63 Transistor Radio, MINT in the original box...this little cutie brought a whooping $1750 at "hammer time"!...

when it comes to Vintage Boots vintageengineerboots.blogspot.com is the man!...this is one of my favorite blogs, continuously updated, packed with amazing pictures and super-Informative...a lot of what of what I have learned about old boots in the vintage marketplace, I was able to pick up here...lately, my treasure hunting aptitude has been strongest (luckiest!) in this area...we have found some killer vintage work-boots this past year, many deadstock...enjoy these pictures of some of our most recent offerings...

here's a small sampling of a sweet little stash of vintage Ts that I snagged today...there's plenty of Screen Stars, Blue Bar, and Artex,as well as a nice selection of Rayon blend shirts for my Malaysian friends...the "show stealer" is this 1970s "561st Support Battalion" T-Shirt...this vintage military T has all the goodies, the material is super-Thin with a nice fade and a killer graphic with tons of crackle...

this 1940's vintage Nocona Cowboy Boot is super-Cool!...it has ALL the goodies, including an engraved Sterling Silver Heel-Cap...what it doesn't have, however, is a match...

vintage Weidemann Beer Delivery-Man Jacket...

during a recent visit, my son, El Duderino, presented me with this most awesome 1950's Weidemann's Beer (made in Kentucky) Delivery-man Jacket from the 1950s...this was one of his "scores" this past summer at the Worlds Largest Yard Sale (US 127)...this four pocket uniform jacket is super-Clean...it has fabulous Embroidered Patches, Conmatic Zipper,and a removable Quilted Lining...I think I will wear this to the Dragon Pub and watch the Kentucky Basketball Cats this evening...CHEERS!
